Drs. Lauvao and Wall join Dr. Marshall to advance comprehensive vein health services
PHOENIX (Nov. 12, 2025) — The Vein Health Center at The CORE Institute is proud to announce the expansion of its vascular team with the addition of two highly experienced, board-certified surgeons: Lannery S. Lauvao, MD, FSVS, FACS, and L. Philipp Wall, MD. They are joining Jonathan Marshall, DO, further strengthening The CORE Institute’s commitment to providing comprehensive, leading-edge care for patients with venous and vascular conditions across Arizona.
Dr. Lauvao is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases. He is experienced in both open vascular and minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including treatment of carotid disease, venous reflux and varicose veins, and deep vein thrombosis.
Before joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Lauvao held leadership and clinical positions with Phoenix Surgical Solutions, Banner Medical Group, and Southwest Vascular Institute. He has also contributed extensively to surgical education and hospital leadership as Chair of the Endovascular Committee and a member of the Medical Executive Committee at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.
Dr. Wall is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arterial and venous diseases. He provides comprehensive care for conditions such as varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, deep venous thrombosis, claudication, and non-healing ulcers.
Before joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Wall practiced as a vascular surgeon in both private and group settings across New York and Arizona, including Advanced Cardiac Specialists in Arizona and Vascular Surgeons of Central New York in Syracuse. In 2007, he founded the Arizona Vein & Vascular Center, which became one of Arizona’s leading vein clinics before he sold the practice and its affiliated surgery centers in 2016.
Dr. Marshall is a board-certified vascular specialist at The Vein Health Center at The CORE Institute. He brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating complex venous conditions and is committed to providing patient-centered care and innovative treatment options for improved vascular health.
