Haley Heenan, PTA

Haley Heenan, PTA received her Associate of Occupational Science in the Physical Therapy Assist program at PIMA Medical Institute. Prior to receiving her associates, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she began her education in their Pre-physical Therapy program.

While completing her studies, Haley gained experience in the physical therapy field by assisting physical therapists in daily patient activity on both a technician level and a personal systems coordinator level. In addition, she was a group exercise instructor at the athletic club where she taught spin, treading, Pilates, and core classes. Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Haley completed her clinical training at the University of Arizona and worked with outpatient orthopedic patients and para/quadriplegics in their Adaptive Gym.

Haley played on her college varsity basketball team, participated in a charity run with the American Cancer Society and also completed the Chicago marathon and various half-marathons, duathlons, and triathlons two years in a row.
