Biography
Burak Altintas, MD is a Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Traumatology.
Prior to joining The CORE Institute, Dr. Altintas practiced as an attending Orthopedic Surgeon in New York. Dr. Altintas earned his Doctoral Degree from the Heidelberg University School of Medicine. He completed his Trauma Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. His residency was completed in Germany.
Dr. Altintas is a member of a variety of societies including the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, among others.
